An alternative to the traditional christening or baptism, a welcoming, blessing  or naming ceremony gives you the chance to really celebrate your family life and all the people who matter most to you. Your ceremony can include the acknowledgement and celebration of wider family and heritage, and you may also wish to honour those who play a special role in your family life by appointing them as guardians / god-parents / odd-parents  / guide-parents.
